Partnership Stories

How the Lord is working through local churches

At Sycamore Tree Mission, we come alongside congregations as they seek to share the Gospel in their communities. The stories below reflect how the Lord has brought renewal, clarity, and growth through these partnerships.

God’s Work in Brampton:
A Church Renewed for Gospel Witness

When Grace Canadian Reformed Church in Brampton found itself surrounded by a rapidly growing and changing community, the Lord began opening doors for renewed gospel witness. Through prayer, discernment, and partnership, Sycamore Tree Mission (formerly GTA Mission) had the privilege of walking alongside Grace Church as God brought new life, clarity of purpose, and joyful commitment to outreach. What began as a desire to faithfully serve Christ in their community became a season of deep spiritual renewal—transforming not only the church’s approach to mission, but the hearts of its members as well.

God’s Work in Richmond Hill:
Sharing the Gospel Through Fellowship and Discipleship

As Bethel Canadian Reformed Church in Richmond Hill sought to grow in its calling to share the gospel, the Lord began opening doors in remarkable ways. With the addition of a mission pastor, the Bethel congregation intentionally pursued opportunities to build relationships and genuinely reflect the love of Christ in their community. Through prayerful planning, guidance from Sycamore Tree Mission (formerly GTA Mission) and the commitment of both leadership and congregation, Bethel developed a clear vision for local mission—marked by intentional community engagement, warm fellowship, and consistent mentoring and discipleship.
