Sycamore Tree Mission partners with churches to strengthen their witness by helping them develop clear, sustainable approaches to local mission. Through prayer, guidance, and practical support, we equip congregations to build meaningful relationships, disciple others, and faithfully reflect the love of Christ in their communities.
Our Story
As a committed group of Christians, we recognize the need to equip churches to better evangelize and share the message of salvation. This shared vision has led us to create Sycamore Tree Mission—a resource centre dedicated to supporting churches in reaching their mission goals. <br>Just as Zacchaeus climbed the sycamore tree to gain a clearer view of the Messiah, the church is called to display Christ’s glory to the world. Many Reformed churches feel overwhelmed in their mission efforts and struggle to effectively evangelize.
Our purpose is supporting and equipping churches to remove obstacles, prune challenges, and elevate others to clearly understand the message of salvation in Jesus Christ. God providentially prepared the sycamore long before Zacchaeus’s need arose. Likewise, God has blessed our generation with churches rooted in solid biblical doctrine and Reformed confessions with every good reason to reach out to the lost in compassion and courage.
Our mandate is to prevent duplication of efforts by providing practical advice, organizational support, and comprehensive assessments of church strengths and weaknesses relating to missions. From restructuring for more effective mission work to offering Reformed resources, we help churches tap into their unique strengths and fulfill their evangelistic calling and everyday discipleship.

Mission
Equipping Reformed congregations primarily in the Greater Toronto Area by providing consultation, assessment, and resources to develop and implement a sustainable mission framework to reach the local community. We collaborate with churches to address internal obstacles and design effective local mission outreach strategies, all with the goal of glorifying God and advancing the Gospel.
